SECTION 3: Participation, Academy Topics, and Attendee Expectations
Participation
ICAMP seeks multidisciplinary participation, including physicians, nurse practitioners/nurses, pharmacists, and physicians assistants, who are members of your organization’s health care team. Characteristics of participants include individuals in practices that:
- Are affiliated with an integrated delivery network (IDN), health system, or healthcare provider group
- Provide healthcare services to an adult population
- Use an EHR/EMR (electronic health/medical records)
Academy Topics
Through engaging, interactive multi-disciplinary group sessions, participants will learn to employ strategies and communication approaches to improve their organization’s adult immunization rates. Key components to the sessions include:
- Evaluating current practices, calculating immunization coverage, and recognizing gaps
- Learning about the NVAC Standards for Adult Immunization Practice, and effectively employing educational and implementation tools
- Creating action plans for implementing the NVAC Standards and mobilizing your organization around common goals.

Attendee Expectations
Participants are encouraged to be actively involved before, The following are actions encouraged of participants pre, during, and afterfollowing the ICAMP Academy in the following ways:
In Advance:
- Complete Academy pre-work [insert hour range]
- Participate in pre-Academy 60 minute webinar to review the agenda, data requirements, and xxx
- Develop understanding of organization’s current adult immunization practices and rates
During:
- Engage in open dialogue and discussion
Afterward:
- Obtain organizational leadership buy-in and sign-off on immunization efforts
- Create an immunization implementation team
- Track immunization efforts and performance
- Share tools, insights, and protocols with implementation team
- Participate in qualitative research (interviews and/or surveys)
SECTION 4: Preparing and Submitting Your Application
Instructions:
- Provide organizational profile, and personal profile, and responses to questions
- Submit supporting information that you feel would be helpful (optional), e.g.:
- CV
- Letter of recommendation
- Publications/presentations showcasing your adult immunization programs
- Submit one electronic copy of the application to www.navp.org by August 30, 2015.
- Receive notice of application status. Applications will be reviewed by the NAVP ICAMP working group with notification by September 11, 2015.

- Registration includes program materials, live program and action planning, snack, and ongoing dialogue with 2016 and 2017 champions.

- If you are not a member and do not wish to become one, no action is necessary.
- Click “Register for GSA 2018” to be redirected to the registration form.
- On the first page of the registration page, several options are available:
- If you only wish to attend ICAMP (not the annual meeting), select “Pre-Conference Workshops Only”
- If you wish to attend the GSA annual meeting and ICAMP, select "Full Conference" and you can add pre-conference workshops (including ICAMP) during the registration process. The conference fee is for the annual scientific meeting; pre-conference workshops are additional.

- Respond to 3 surveys over 12 months on adult immunization rate changes.
